As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to meet the needs of our clients and internal projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, strong technical expertise, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies.

Candidate Specification

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions based on industry best practices and client requirements.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
3. Deployment and Automation: Develop and automate deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and repeatable provisioning of resources.
4. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments and data.
5. Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resources to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
6. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network, and application layers.
7. Scalability: Plan and implement scalable solutions to accommodate the growth and evolving needs of the organization.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals, to achieve project goals.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices, and
    share knowledge with the team.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role in cloud infrastructure design and
  management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git).
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies.
